Teamwork makes the dream work!
In this session, we are all united in a common goal: Discover the techniques to have the best working relationship between court reporters and attorneys! Attorney Lewis will speak to his experience from insurance defense to civil rights litigation and all thrilling entertainment and sports law in between. Have questions for Attorney Lewis? He’s ready to work hand in hand with all attendees and share the secrets to everyone’s success!

2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.   Using the Internet to Its Fullest!  (.15 CEU)   
What is an unabridged dictionary? Remember going to libraries and researching technical terms to deliver that rush transcript as ordered? Fast forward and welcome the Internet! Resources are endless: Search engines, Google Scholar, networking groups, dictionary sites, expert bios, curricula vitae, research papers … the list goes on and on and on … This session will walk you through how to truly edit faster, learn more, and produce the best results possible. Consider bringing your laptop to do live tests during the seminar (and get ready to bookmark many fantastic websites for your future use)! By the end, we can’t guarantee you will be Jeopardy ready, but you may be close!

Stay dressed as you are or bring your comfy Saturday night attire or your favorite Halloween costume! No matter what, make sure you STAY! We will celebrate OCRA and each of us with a HallowFest of a time after working hard all day. Events to include: Fun games, costume contest, music, auction, prizes, and more! Dinner and one alcoholic drink ticket will be provided to all registered attendees!
